Dr. Lauren Katzel has dedicated her practice to increasing access to care for under-served patients in her community. Dr. Katzel is a general dentist, and joined the Petaluma Health Center dental team in 2013 where she treats patients of all ages and oral health care needs with a focus on preventive dentistry. Dr. Katzel is a Ukiah, California native and thrilled to be back in Northern California. While completing her dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania, she concurrently completed a Master in Public Health degree. She received national recognition as a Preventive Dentistry Scholar due to her dedication to community outreach and volunteer work. She is enthusiastic about staying updated on emerging healthcare topics and evidence-based dentistry. Dr. Katzel is a member of the Redwood Empire Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. In her free time, Dr. Katzel enjoys live music, outdoor exercise, and is currently knitting a sweater.
