Dr. Alan Chan serves as Chief Pharmacy Officer, overseeing pharmacy operations, clinical integration, and regulatory compliance across the organization. His work focuses on expanding access to medications, improving care coordination, and strengthening pharmacy services that support high-quality, patient-centered care.

Dr. Chan collaborates with medical, dental, behavioral health, operations, and finance leaders to enhance medication safety, optimize workflows, and develop programs that meet the needs of diverse communities. He is engaged in national conversations on health center pharmacy practice and the evolving role of pharmacy in primary care.

He serves as a Board member of the Community Health Council, where he supports initiatives that shape community health policy and improve access to care at the national level.

Before joining the organization, Dr. Chan held leadership roles within major national pharmacy and healthcare companies and has maintained professional affiliations with both the University of California, San Francisco and the University of the Pacific. In addition to his clinical and operational work, he is also an entrepreneur, bringing experience from multiple business ventures that inform his approach to innovation and strategic growth.

Dr. Chan earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of the Pacific. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his children and exploring new ventures in business, technology, and healthcare.
