Accessibility Statement

Petaluma Health Center is committed to providing a website and digital experience that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We work continuously to improve the accessibility of our digital services so that all members of our community can access the care, information, and resources they need.

Our commitment

Petaluma Health Center (PHC) believes that high-quality healthcare must be accessible to everyone we serve. Accessibility is a core part of how we deliver patient-centered care online as well as in person. Our website, phealthcenter.org, and the digital tools we offer to patients are designed to meet recognized accessibility standards and to work well with assistive technologies.

This statement applies to the public-facing website at phealthcenter.org, including all subpages we operate directly. It does not cover third-party platforms (such as our patient portal, MyChart) that are governed by their vendors’ own accessibility statements; those statements are linked from the relevant pages where applicable.

Conformance standard

Our website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is the technical standard referenced by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and by Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for state and local government programs and places of public accommodation.

More information about WCAG 2.1 is available from the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 specification.

  • Tracking accessibility improvements alongside other site work, with priority based on user impact.
  • Reviewing this Accessibility Statement at least annually and whenever a material change is made to the site.
