Dr. Andrew Ashcroft is passionate about patient education and empowering his patients to meet their health goals. He grew up on a farm in Reedley, California before attending Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania where he studied biology and education. Dr. Ashcroft taught school in Utah for three years before medical school. He attended Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire and completed his residency in Boise, Idaho. He grew very fond of Boise where he spent much of his time kayaking in the Snake and Salmon Rivers. Dr. Ashcroft also has a degree in Public Health from Harvard University. In his free time Dr. Ashcroft enjoys spending time outdoors mountain biking, hiking, running, river kayaking, and snowboarding. He also likes to travel; his most recent trip was to India with his wife and two small children.
