PHC’s Dr. Fasih Hameed wins 2013 “40 Under 40 Award.”
Dr. Hameed was selected on the basis of his leadership at PHC and in the community. He reflects an inspiring and substantial pool of young talent across the North Bay. Dr. Hameed, a PHC primary care physician, is also an alternative medicine practitioner leading group acupuncture and innovative pain group programs at PHC that have greatly reduced chronic pain suffered by our patients while improving their quality of life. He is considered a leader in the “Alternative Medicine for the Underserved” movement nationally and co-founded the first conference on that very topic in the United States.
