1/20/2021 Vaccine Update
We anticipate that we will start patient vaccination for our elder patients with chronic conditions in February. We will reach out to our patients via text, email, and phone calls based on vaccine supplies received from the State. Your grouping is not determined by your doctor, but will instead be based on your age and health conditions, following California Department of Public Health and CDC guidelines.
We understand you may be anxious to receive your vaccine and we are working hard to make it happen as quickly as is possible based on the number of vaccines we receive from the State and County. Please note that our current vaccine supply is limited, so please be patient as we reach out with vaccine appointment openings based on vaccine supply.
Your doctor will not be able to request a vaccine for you or change the timing of your vaccine. Please do not contact your doctor or our call center for a COVID-19 vaccine appointment, as we have a centralized system that is managing distribution and reaching out to patients as supplies become available.
We have received the first small supplies of Moderna vaccines for COVID-19, and our healthcare workers are being vaccinated according to California Department of Public Health guidelines.
We will keep you updated on our plans for rolling out these important vaccines to patients as the vaccination program moves forward.
