Enter the “Pink Zone” on Feb. 11th at 5:30pm as the Sonoma State University Seawolves take on the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros at The Wolves’ Den. Pink Zone is a nationwide women’s basketball initiative to raise breast cancer awareness on campus and in the community. The Petaluma Health Center and Alpha Xi Delta Sorority are sponsoring this special event which will also highlight the Petaluma Health Center Mammogram Fund that helps pay for mammograms for high risk, low and moderate income women.
The first 100 fans to arrive at the game will receive a free t-shirt and a halftime ceremony will be held to honor breast cancer survivors. In addition, the women’s basketball team is requesting that all fans wear pink to the game, which is set for a 5:30 pm tip off.
